Late at night

It’s time for slumber

The sleep has come

To let me to the next world

The eyes are open

Yet refuse to surrender

Laid down still

Staring out through skylight

What am I looking at?

Is that the stars?

Blinking eyes over me?

Or is it the moon?

I wonder it is not

I am blank

Looking into the dark

It’s the world of thoughts

The whispering memories of old

It paved me to emotions

The feel of joy and sorrow

Gifting me with smiles

And tears in the eyes..!!!
